Garrow Aircraft LLC released in 2008 its unique and innovative aircraft design, called the Verticopter®, literally “Vertical Wing”, which is optimized for niche markets such as Aerial Surveillance, Reconnaissance, Border Patrol, News Coverage and VIP Transport.

Launched at EAA 2011 AirVenture, Verticopter-II™ extends the capabilities of Verticopter® by allowing any form of payload, including freight and bulky loads or equipment, easy cargo bay access and increased cruise speed and range, enabling new applications like high-speed medical evacuation.

In 2012, we skipped AirVenture and worked on 2 new advanced Verticopter configurations, and after testing successfully a VTOL Flying Wing (VC3) we settled for the revolutionary planform configuration of VC4. Latest results about this ultimate design will be posted later in 2013 and are confidential and under NDA at the moment.

The Verticopters® are new convertiplanes that are highly scalable from models, to drones, UAVs and to manned vehicles and will turn your runway ‘into a thing of the past’. Capable of VTOL or STOVL and very high cruise speeds, it serves those markets more efficiently than any helicopter.
