Verticopter® Patents

Garrow aircraft has several pending patents regarding the design and architecture of the Verticopter®, in the US and internationally. This unique solution came about after approximately four years of brainstorming, make and break attempts by its inventor. Three years in the process, the first computer simulation and CAD design started, so roughly in 2005, to verify the design. Since then and after roughly one hundred iterations, each version has been qualified and re-qualified on each version of the X-plane simulator. Additional 3D modeling, CAD and CFD tools were also used.

Special attention was brought to the design of the airfoils, especially to perform very efficiently at loitering speeds (60 to 120 knots). Another special area of focus has been the strategy for Center of Gravity (CG) management.
We'll invite the reader to read about the Verticopter's technology when the patent applications will get published. The trademark "Verticopter" has also been registered with the US Patent and Trademark Office (the USPTO).
It is claimed that the Verticopter is a genuine and new solution, which doesn't infringe on any existing design. It was not covered by any development in the last 70 years and as reported by the "V/STOL wheel" : http://www.vstol.org/wheel/wheel.htm

If you have any question about this patent-pending technology, feel free to contact Garrow Aircraft via the Contact_Us page. Thank you.
